Privacy
The Tacetto site collects two things: the interest list, and anonymous page-view counts. This page says exactly what each keeps.
What the interest list keeps
- Your email address.
- When you asked, when you confirmed, and which version of this notice you saw.
- If you leave, the date you left. The address stays on a do-not-email record so you are not emailed again.
- To stop abuse, a one-way hash of your network address is kept in a rate-limit table. It cannot be turned back into the address, and a later request deletes it once it is more than 30 minutes old.
Why
To send you occasional updates about Tacetto, about once a month at most, after you confirm by email. Your consent is the only basis. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or used to train a model.
What it does not do
- No cookies, no tracking pixels in emails, and no advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- No signup is added until you click the confirmation link. Unconfirmed requests older than 7 days are deleted the next time anyone uses the form.
Page-view counts
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or localStorage and does not fingerprint visitors by network address or browser details. The counts help me see whether anyone is reading and whether the site is fast. The pages you use to confirm or leave the interest list are excluded.
Who handles it
Cloudflare hosts this site, counts page views and stores the list. Resend delivers the email. Both are US companies that provide these services to me.
How long
Until you leave. Every update has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your address entirely at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what is held about you, correct it or have it deleted through the contact page. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
